कानपुर। शहर के प्रमुख चौराहों पर वाहन चालकों को चिलचिलाती धूप से बचाने और भीषण गर्मी से राहत देने की सराहनीय पहल की गई है। यहां 15 प्रमुख चौराहों पर ग्रीन शेड लगाये गये हैं। प्रशासन की अनूठी पहल से रेड सिग्नल पर रुकने वाले वाहन चालकों को बड़ी राहत मिली है। यहां बता दें कि कानपुर में इन दिनों तापमान लगभग 42 डिग्री चल रहा है। प्रशासन का मानना है खासतौर पर दुपहिया वाहन चालक सीधे सूर्य की किरणों और गर्म हवाओं के संपर्क में रहते हैं। ऐसे ग्रीन शेड की व्यवस्था उन्हें राहत पहुंचाने में कारगर साबित होगी। प्रशासन की इस नेक पहल की चहुं ओर प्रशंसा है।
